lyrics

once i was alive, alive inside of this, once i was alive, alive instead of dust, once i was disguised as, once i was only flesh, once i was realized that, once i was the light was made of this, and then was only ash
scattered in the wind, thrown about by lusty waves, please meet me there in the place, we had formerly decided, i won’t know my way but since you’ve been there awhile, can you show me around?, over there are some souls, who have recently arrived, i can tell that i’m sure because they seem to still have faces, look at them and you don’t need eyes, picture them with just will and surprise, at peace they all claim, with the clouds that seem to create them, no dreams anymore and no sleep is needed.
