we all ate junk and played the games that sing, the sun went down, there was sand in everything, hold tight to those memories, hang on because they’re gone too fast

you raise your arms and scream,we left that night all dizzy with the joy
felt kind of sick but the kids slept in the car,if you’re gonna hit it, then hit it mean
a jackpot’s waiting in the video game, yeah go ahead and jump, shout out loud and fists get pumped, are you ready to dance and sing karaoke to the latest thing
the ferris wheel and the “ride of death” and don’t forget the tilt-o-whirl, oh yes
we did not go back again for many years,the fun was like the sun that disappeared
