lyrics
I had a rough day at my job and my head was hurting good, so I thought I might drown my sorrows but was this idea any good? A couple of guys in the office next door said “we’ll meet you for some drinks”, so I turned off the power, jumped out of my chair before I had time to think about it, It was cool, it was so smooth, it was like nectar, not alcoholic or carbonated but with something extra, it tasted like holy water, so I got home late and the wife was worried and said “honey are you OK”? I replied with a yawn and a sheepish grin and said “it’s just a hell of a day”, so I jumped in the shower to wash it off and opened my mouth a tad, well the water went in , I settled down and things were not so bad, pour it over, let it flow, drink it in then let it go, turning wine to water now that’s a switch, the rain starts falling and I feel rich, well, the next time it doesn’t go so well here’s my two cents of advice, run the tap, grab a glass and maybe get a little ice, here’s to you and you and you and all you do today, just drink it down, let it out and flush your troubles away like this, it was cool, it so smooth, it was like nectar, it tasted like holy water.
