Recorded in 2023, this album features James Hill ( Richmond CA ) on trumpet and Don Campau ( Santa Rosa CA ) on keyboards. electronics, loops and editing.
Instead of James playing over “backing tracks”, he sent solo trumpet pieces which were later edited and crafted into an unexpected series of jazz and experimental soundscapes using Don’s playing , field recordings, and pre-recorded sounds
